When a crisis hits and all of a sudden you're stuck at home, the world can seem like it's ending. But have no fear, our list of essentials is here. We've rounded up a list of the best movies and tv shows, best music, and best ways to chill out and stay sane during this crazy time. Check them out and let us know what you think below!

1. CHILL OUT

Before anything else, here's your friendly reminder to breathe. The news and the panic it sometimes spreads can be super overwhelming. A good place to start if you're feeling swamped with info is to unplug, get outside, and focus on the good stuff. Play some board games, journal, go on a hike, etc. Another great way is to meditate, and our favorite app for guided meditation is Headspace and they have lots of free meditations up right now which we'll be taking full advantage of. It's the perfect time to slow down and take advantage of the extra time to tune back into what makes you stoked.

2. GET COZY

Guess what? Time to binge-watch. So light a candle (THIS ONE will transport you somewhere warm), pull out your favorite blanket (THIS ONE is our top choice), and get watching. Now for the movie recommendations. If you're feeling sad that you can't travel anymore, check out our list of movies to cure a travel bug HERE. But for those of you who want a little more, we'd recommend starting a movie series. Lord of The Rings Extended Versions, anyone? Maybe gear up and watch all of the Bond movies before the new one launches. C'mon, you've got time.

If you're more of a reader than we've got recommendations for you on that too. Bossypants by Tina Fey, Creativity Inc by Amy Wallace and Edwin Catmull and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas are some of our favorites. One is funny, one is inspiring, and the other is a classic. Take your pick.

3. GET CREATIVE

No better time than now to work those creative muscles. Pick up those art supplies you haven't touched in a while and make something new with them. Want to challenge yourself? There are plenty of guided creative exercises online with guided prompts for everything from sketching to photography to music. You can find one of our favorite guided sketchbooks HERE. Check out your favorite artist's Instagrams and get inspired. Rearrange your furniture or try a new recipe out. Try it all and see what get's you feeling good!

4. SUPPORT SMALL

Take advantage of the downtime and use it to help some of your favorite businesses that might be taking a hit during all of the craziness. Leave reviews on Google for your favorite restaurants, order products from shops that are still shipping or gift cards if that's more your style. However you can help, they'll appreciate it more than you know.

Stay safe out there and let us know how you stay busy!!
