Last week, we got to host one of our favorite events of the year: our annual ski movie showing. We teamed up with Teton Gravity Research, a media company that produces all things stoke-worthy.
We missed hanging out with our community (aka YOU) so we were so pumped to run our first public event since the pandemic. The turnout was INSANE. There were free drinks from Thirst, rad prizes from local Utah companies (+ an IKON pass), and the best part? Ticket proceeds went to Youth Sport Alliance, a non-profit based out of Park City that holds after school programs to introduce kids to snow sports.
Their latest film, Stoke The Fire, took us everywhere from their hometown of snowy Jackson Hole to the coast of Alaska. Featuring athletes such as Tim Durtschi and Ian Mcintosh, we got to vicariously live our wildest winter dreams through them. Grom Kai Jones stole everyone in the audiences hearts with his no-fear mindset, and the soundtrack was so good! You could see everyone in the theater pull out their phones to Shazam different songs throughout the film.
We can't wait for next year when we'll have another stellar film, even bigger prizes, and get to see all of you again. Mark your calendar, we'll be back soon!
