Our Favorite Halloween Movies

For today's blog post, we wanted to give you guys a list of our all-time favorite Halloween movies!! This is a topic that has been taken very seriously in the office and created some intense arguments and some well thought out discussions. So, without further ado, here is our employee picks for our favorite Halloween movies.

1. Trevor's Pick: Nightmare Before Christmas

We know, we know. The claymation freaks you out. But if you can get past that, this is a total classic. A love story, spooky songs, and multiple holidays all mashed up into one amazing work of art.

2. Ryan's Pick: The Ring

Our favorite for a movie night with lots of people. If you haven't seen it, it's one you gotta watch, ASAP. Lots of jumpscares, and you'll be thinking about Samara way after the movie is over.

3. Melinda's Pick: Hocus Pocus

A light-hearted pick that appeals to all ages, this one is a total classic. You can't tell me Winifred's cover of "I Put A Spell On You" isn't one of the most iconic performances of our time, because it is.

4. Mckenzie's Pick: Wait Until Dark

A totally underrated movie. Directors have tried to recreate this kind of suspense, but nothing can top the original. This one is a favorite.

5. Colby's Pick: What Lies Beneath

One that will spook you as much as blow your mind. Watch it ASAP.

6. Lauren's Pick: Beetlejuice

This is the pick for those with a more irreverent sense of humor and an appreciation for Winona Ryder. It's whacky, it's spooky, and it's hilarious.

7. Lily's Pick: House at the End of the Street

This one will blow your mind as much as it will scare you. We're not gonna say anymore, because we don't wanna give anything away.

8. Mitch's Pick: Halloween

Can you ever really go wrong with a classic serial killer movie?

9. Lilli's Pick: The Addams Family

This one is WEIRD and we LOVE it. The number of brilliant jokes and lines that are used in this are unreal. There is a reason you see families across the country dress up like them every year.

Honorable Mentions that we just couldn't add or this post would be so long: Corpse Bride, Psycho, Sixth Sense, Ghost Busters, What We Do in the Shadows, and Sleepy Hollow

What are your favorite movies to get you in the Halloween spirit? Let us know!!
