Finance Analyst - Provo, UT

JOB OVERVIEW

Location : Thread Office in Provo, UT

Hours : Must be able to either start full time immediately or upon graduation at the end of the semester. If part time to start, must be able to work 20+ hrs per week.

Pay : Based on experience.

In this job you will learn what is required to run the finances of a small business. You will be able to take that experience and apply it throughout your career. You will be part of a small, nimble team, which will allow for plenty of opportunities to set the strategy and course of action for growth within the finance department.

As a Finance Analyst at Thread you will work closely with the CFO in many different areas, including but not limited to:

● Financial Reporting

   ○ Monthly cash flow forecasts

   ○ Yearly financial projections

   ○ Cost-savings reports

   ○ Opportunity analysis

● Accounts Payable

   ○ Pay suppliers on time to ensure projects are not delayed

● Accounts Receivable

○ Work with wholesale team to ensure wholesale customers pay on time and in full

● Payroll

   ○ Approve submitted employee expenses

   ○ Run payroll twice monthly

   ○ Ensure managers approve hours for non-salary workers

QUALIFICATIONS

● 18+ years old

● Previous finance training preferred

   ○ On the job experience or academic training

● Proficient at Microsoft Excel

● Strong oral and written communication skills

● Great analytical skills

● Problem solver

● Proactive

● Strategic thinker

● Must be able to work full time starting the beginning of May 2023 at the latest
