(part time 20 hrs per week)

Who We Are: 

Founded in 2015 Thread was born out of a need for expression in a category saturated with bulky and boring. Our purpose is to offer functional carry products that allow you to do what you love and to look good doing it. We are growing fast and looking to add a new finance associate to help facilitate this growth. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage Thread’s outstanding accounts receivable balance by communicating and collecting from our vendors.
• Communicate important accounts receivable insights regarding slow paying customers, overdue accounts, and general turnover concerns.
• Strengthen and grow relationships with our vendors.
• Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for improvement.
• Finally, we are a rapidly growing and ever evolving company! Over time your responsibilities could evolve and result in additional projects. 

Experience:

 We are looking for a proactive individual who doesn’t easily give up when faced with opposition. We are interested in anyone who would like to gain valuable accounting/finance experience. Furthermore, we would like this individual to have genuine interest/experience in the retail + ecommerce industry! 

Expectations/Info: 20+ hrs per week. Pay based on experience. Plenty of employee perks like free lunches, company activities, flexible working schedule.
